COLE ODIN was raised to the pulse of the twin hearts of the SF Bay Area- a gritty underground DJ scene, & the blinding light of a rock & roll stage. His music is inspired by arm hairs on end, uncontrollable smiles, & the song you can't take off repeat.

Born in LA but raised in the Bay, Cole Odin Berggren is a Cali kid. More than that, Cole Odin (also known as OWNERSHIP) IS music, as he strives to create sounds that reside in a variety of areas, yet simultaneously live in their own world, thus his goal is to take OWNERSHIP of his many influences to offer something new. It is electronic-based, but that would fail to describe the raw liveness of it. It's psyche-rock, tech-hop, deep-balearic, chug-house for music fans of all types. Since compatible comparison is justifiably needed by some to draw them into something new, the sounds of COLE ODIN's music can be traced from a variety of influences into a new hybrid of moving music. His versatile style of moving through genre, tempo and mood is also reflected by looking at the selectors that influenced his desire to create the set as one long song- Thomas Bullock (and all the Wicked Crew), Solar, Eddie C, DJ Three, DJ Spun, Charlotte the Baroness, Cosmo Murphy, Young Marco, Idjut Boys, DJ Holographic, DJ Minx, Sean Johnston, Gerd Jansen, Psychemagik, Nick the Record, DJ Harvey, the DJs of LDP, and the too-long-to-list roster of local badassery the Bay Area is known for around the world. He's played legendary clubs like Mangiami, APT and Lit in NYC, A Club Called Rhonda and the Standard Hotel in LA, and multiple times at the Sunset Campout Music Festival. He has also been honored by being asked to play The Do Over in L.A. He's also one of the house DJs for LiveNation which has him in rotation as the VIP room DJ at The Masonic, and in the poster room at The Fillmore, and recently played the opening night party in Super Bowl 50's Super City, with a classic rock set opening for Chris Isaak. His extensive musical background has led to other employment such as session drummer and vocalist, blog-writer for Monster Headphones, Om Records and Stunner of the Month, and music director/head music writer for SEX+DESIGN magazine, where he put his musical knowledge to work planning and DJing huge events, and interviewing artists such as Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins, Cody Chesnutt, Public Enemy, Pillow Talk, Matthew Dear and many more. By day, he also works as the outreach director for Blue Bear School of Music (the longest running non-profit rock n roll music school in the nation), where he runs after-school programs for kids, organizes their events, and created their DJ and Electronic Music Program.
